These Terms govern your purchase and use of ScreenBoundary (“the App”), macOS software operated by Manuel Najera (“the Developer”, “we”, “us”). By purchasing, downloading, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The license we grant
ScreenBoundary is licensed, not sold. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on the number of Macs included in your plan: Personal — 1 Mac; Home — up to 3 Macs. The license is a one-time purchase and is perpetual for the version line you buy, and it includes the updates we choose to release for that line. You may move your license between your own Macs using Deactivate this Mac in the App's settings.
2. What you may not do
You may not: resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the App or your license key; share your license key publicly or with others; circumvent, disable, or tamper with license activation or validation; or reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
3. License keys, activation and revocation
The App validates your license with our own licensing server. Activation associates your license key with a device identifier so we can enforce the number of Macs in your plan. We may suspend or revoke a license key that we reasonably believe was obtained fraudulently, shared in breach of these Terms, or that is associated with a refund or payment chargeback (see our Refund Policy). When a license is revoked, the App's licensed features stop working.
4. Purchase, pricing and the seller
Purchases are processed by our Merchant of Record — the seller of record for your transaction. Our current Merchant of Record is Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd.). It handles payment, billing, applicable taxes, and invoicing, and its name may appear on your statement. Prices are shown in US dollars and may change; the price you pay is the one displayed at checkout. ScreenBoundary is a one-time purchase — there is no subscription and no recurring charge.
5. Refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Refunds, their eligibility, and their effect on your license are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. The software is provided “as is”
ScreenBoundary changes how macOS presents your display. Every activation includes an automatic-revert safety countdown — the same kind macOS shows when you change resolution — so an unusable state reverts on its own. Even so, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the App at your own risk and are responsible for backing up your data. ScreenBoundary is a software utility for arranging and presenting your Mac's display; it does not repair, modify, service, or alter the performance or security of your hardware, and it makes no physical changes to your screen. ScreenBoundary is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. “Mac”, “macOS” and “Apple Silicon” are trademarks of Apple Inc.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer's total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
8. Updates and availability
We may release updates, delivered through the App's built-in updater (Sparkle). We may change, suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We are not obligated to provide support, but we try to — see Contact below.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes apply from the date they are posted; continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States (Mexico), without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence are not affected by this clause.

Estos Términos rigen la compra y el uso de ScreenBoundary (“la App”), software para macOS operado por Manuel Najera (“el Desarrollador”, “nosotros”). Al comprar, descargar o usar la App, aceptas estos Términos. Si no estás de acuerdo, no uses la App.
1. La licencia que te otorgamos
ScreenBoundary se licencia, no se vende. Te otorgamos una licencia personal, no exclusiva, intransferible y revocable para instalar y usar la App en la cantidad de Macs incluida en tu plan: Personal — 1 Mac; Home — hasta 3 Macs. La licencia es de pago único y perpetua para la línea de versión que compras, e incluye las actualizaciones que publiquemos para esa línea. Puedes mover tu licencia entre tus propias Macs con Desactivar este Mac en los ajustes de la App.
2. Lo que no puedes hacer
No puedes: revender, alquilar, sublicenciar ni redistribuir la App o tu clave de licencia; compartir tu clave públicamente o con terceros; eludir, desactivar o manipular la activación o validación de licencia; ni aplicar ingeniería inversa, descompilar o desensamblar la App, salvo en la medida en que la ley aplicable prohíba esta restricción.
3. Claves de licencia, activación y revocación
La App valida tu licencia con nuestro propio servidor de licencias. La activación asocia tu clave con un identificador de dispositivo para hacer cumplir el número de Macs de tu plan. Podemos suspender o revocar una clave que razonablemente consideremos obtenida de forma fraudulenta, compartida en incumplimiento de estos Términos, o asociada a un reembolso o contracargo (consulta nuestra Política de Reembolsos). Cuando una licencia se revoca, las funciones licenciadas de la App dejan de funcionar.
4. Compra, precio y vendedor
Las compras las procesa nuestro Merchant of Record — el vendedor de registro de tu transacción. Nuestro Merchant of Record actual es Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd.). Gestiona el pago, la facturación, los impuestos aplicables y la emisión de factura, y su nombre puede aparecer en tu estado de cuenta. Los precios se muestran en dólares estadounidenses y pueden cambiar; el precio que pagas es el mostrado al finalizar la compra. ScreenBoundary es de pago único: no hay suscripción ni cargos recurrentes.
5. Reembolsos
Ofrecemos una garantía de devolución de 30 días. Los reembolsos, su elegibilidad y su efecto sobre tu licencia se describen en nuestra Política de Reembolsos, que forma parte de estos Términos.
6. El software se entrega “tal cual”
ScreenBoundary cambia cómo macOS presenta tu pantalla. Cada activación incluye una cuenta regresiva de reversión automática de seguridad — del mismo tipo que muestra macOS al cambiar la resolución — de modo que un estado inutilizable se revierte solo. Aun así, la App se proporciona “tal cual” y “según disponibilidad”, sin garantías de ningún tipo, expresas o implícitas, incluidas las de comerciabilidad, idoneidad para un fin determinado y no infracción. Usas la App bajo tu propio riesgo y eres responsable de respaldar tus datos. ScreenBoundary es una utilidad de software para organizar y presentar la pantalla de tu Mac; no repara, modifica ni da servicio, ni altera el rendimiento o la seguridad de tu hardware, y no realiza cambios físicos en tu pantalla. ScreenBoundary es un producto independiente y no está afiliado, avalado ni patrocinado por Apple Inc. “Mac”, “macOS” y “Apple Silicon” son marcas de Apple Inc.
7. Limitación de responsabilidad
En la máxima medida permitida por la ley aplicable, el Desarrollador no será responsable de daños indirectos, incidentales, especiales, consecuentes o punitivos, ni de la pérdida de datos, ganancias o ingresos, derivados del uso o la imposibilidad de uso de la App. En la máxima medida permitida por la ley, la responsabilidad total del Desarrollador por cualquier reclamación relacionada con la App no excederá el importe que pagaste por ella. Nada en estos Términos limita una responsabilidad que no pueda limitarse según la ley aplicable, incluidos tus derechos como consumidor.
8. Actualizaciones y disponibilidad
Podemos publicar actualizaciones, que se entregan mediante el actualizador integrado de la App (Sparkle). Podemos modificar, suspender o discontinuar la App o cualquier función en cualquier momento. No estamos obligados a brindar soporte, pero lo intentamos — ver Contacto abajo.
9. Cambios en estos Términos
Podemos actualizar estos Términos ocasionalmente. La fecha de “Última actualización” arriba refleja la versión vigente. Los cambios sustanciales aplican desde su publicación; el uso continuado después de esa fecha implica que aceptas los Términos actualizados.
10. Ley aplicable
Estos Términos se rigen por las leyes de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, sin atender a normas de conflicto de leyes. Los derechos de protección al consumidor de carácter obligatorio en tu país de residencia no se ven afectados por esta cláusula.
